CEOs Make 400 Times What the Average Worker Earns
Bernie Sanders likes to say that CEOs make 400 times what the average worker earns. He does a bit of cherry picking when he says this because he compares the top 100 CEO salaries to the average of workers everywhere. But if you compare all CEOs and all CEOs, there are 250,000 of them in the US give or take. Their average salary is around $200,000,. which sounds absurdly high to a number of people. It typically shows up at your door about 30 years into your career.
