Interfacing Language Models to Robots: Can I Make a Sandwich?
There have been a number of works that have sought to explore different ways to perform that interface. A value function looks at the state and it says, can I do this task? So if you have a high value for a task, that means that in that state, you believe the task can be done. At Google, we had some work, this was the Sei Can paper, that looked at exploring deeper ways to interface language models and physical interaction.
