The Concept of Attributes in Spinoza
By attribute, I understand that which the intellect perceives other substance as constituting its essence. There is a slight issue that I have with it. But his whole point is he doesn't define what are the exact criteria for an attribute. So one, getting back to the substance, he also only says there's substances with one substance. Why is it interesting for that to be one substance? And he basically defines it to be that the idea of a substance also has to be within it the attribute of necessarily existing.
