We need some flexibility and adaptability if we're going to do something in the most consistent way possible. If we form really, really rigid and brittle habits, then when life gets in the way, right? You can't make your usual seven a m, you don't go at all. But if you have some flexibility in your habit, like, i'm normally a seven a m meditator, exercise or but when i can't squeeze it in at 7 a m, i find a way to do it at lunch.
