The Hygiene Hypothesis

When i was a kid, i had never heard of someone with a peanut alargy. These days, i'm sure you know some one with a peanutalargy. The primary theory for this change is the hygiene hypothesis. Now we live in an environment which is so sterile that the mean system over reacts to things like peanuts. My daught isn't alergic to peanuts. She's allergic to tree nuts, and carries an epipen with her wherever she goes. As the rent of someone who suffers from a dangerous alargy, i feel guilty.
