This has been one of the key themes, bizarly, of this conference. We had jake berry saying that civil servants should stop woking from home. Then we had oliver dowdon going back to the civil servant attack. He was actually talking about his former permanent secretary at the culture department - sarah healey. She said she liked working from home because it allowed her to hop on her pelaton when she had time. It is a bold move to attack a civil servant who can't answer back but also slightly odd as they recently signed off on plans to reduce the size of their department.
