Dad's in the Room

In the Old Testament, fathers are told to instruct and to discipline in the Lord. How often do we spend our disciplinary capital on things that are not of the Lord? It's an act of trust that you can watch a pitch go by and the world won't end. Paul himself will address those who own slaves and how they ought to willingly of their own volition for Christian reasons give up their slaves and grant them freedom.
