The Role of Bio Fertilizers in Solving the Use of Chemical Fertils
Are bio fertilizers an answer to solving the use of chemical fertilizers? Are they more advantageous in any way? And it's a very pressing question Douglas. One University of Cambridge study found that, along with manure, fertilizers are responsible for emitting the equivalent of 2.6 gigatons of carbon per year. That's more than the shipping and aviation industry combined. With me to explain the role bio fertilizers might play in bringing this down is Giles Aldroyd from the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Cambridge.
