I imagine as a mother that that placing personal worth a second to the family to the judge, like, I imagine that that must just be an endemic amongst women. But yeah, I wonder about the challenges that people have of holding themselves to high standards as well. So this is kind of a double edged sword, right? That in order to be excellent at a thing, you need to demand a lot of yourself. As soon as you posit an ideal, you then begin to put yourself and whatever you do in reference to that ideal,. which inevitably creates a gap.
