I Was a Freshman and I Was in a Musical
My vocal coach actually said that my facial expressions masked my tongue and adequacies. I just didn't have the ball. So audition until senior year. We had a musical every year. I mostly did Shakespeare series play and then a student director play.I only did theater my senior year of high school, but I moved to a high school that had five productions a year. Whoa. There's the fall play, which I was the scarecrow and Wizard of Oz. Then I was in the diviners in the winter play. And then I was the devil in damn Yankees in the spring musical. Wow. It was crazy.
