Rin am: We have to begin in that kind of bodisantvic turn towards where we presently are. If we don't have a habitable present, even in that sort of diaphanous gepserian sense, then we have no past or future. The conditions of the present really force us to work with the old in a lot of ways to try to transform it. You can't just abandon the sent for a new type of utopian society. It's that same kind of rupturing oriented, modernist mythology which is all about being reafied by tragedies.
