How Do Cats Communicate With Other Cats?

Cats in nature are very solitary animals. A mom cat might have kittens around for a year or so, but they don't communicate with other adults. They leave these sort of cryptic messages usually in smells, on trees for each other. So that makes it even more special that our pet cats have indeed learned to talk to people. Living in our houses, cats have invented a unique language of meows that sort of instruct their owners about what to do.
