In 19 31, the british sereological archaeologist, doctor reginald campbell thompson, was working near the ancient assyrian city of nineveh in the north of modern erak. He uncovered a bronze cast human head which is believed to be the likeness of a king. It has been convenient to suggest that it is the head of sagon of acad, the most famous of all acadian kings and the conqueror of suma. The reality is that it could have been any acadian king, but none the less, the art fact is a breathtaking relic of acadian significance.
