The Role of Narcissism in the Church

I've spent a fair amount of time the last few years looking at abusive circumstances in the church, narcissistic leaders on healthy communities. And I remember reading one day from not just a sort of trollish online account, but a respected scholar talking about this church tells this story about how husbands in this church would have way in nights for their wives and brothers. Like totally made up, right? It was shared as though it were true. In fact, if you trace the story back, there was a parody account of the church that did, posted something of this one night. The punchline to the joke was, we'll see who gets extra guacamole, right? You know what
