Newspaper magnate Andrew Carnegie lived in many luxury hotels. He had an office at 57 broadway, which would be headquarters for many of his business endeavours. In 18 86 he moved into a mansion on fifth avenue around the corner from vanderbilt mansions. His philosophies might suggest that he wishedi otherwise but he was quite public about how he felt about wealth and accumulating it.
