The Voice Enabled Assistive Technology
The project started in 20 18 when google began working with a non profit seeking a cure for a l s. It's a progressive nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, often leading to speech impediments. In order for our technology to work, we need individuals who have a trouble being understood by others to record a certain number of phrases. We use those speech samples as examples to train our macine lerning model to better understand the way they speak.
