Politicians Use the Media to Their Own Advantage to Win the Game

I think what they are getting at there is maybe a political truism, at least in American politics. Politicians have been using the media to their advantage and benefit since day one. If you're a despot or emperor, of course you're trying to censor the media. So I think that's what they're getting at with that quote. You know, what is serving their own ends and objectives? And that's a mixed bag. It can be comingmaybe just from a totally self-interested place.
