Do You Have a Preferable Method for Recording?
If i have the consent of or a part then i say, hey, can you no record this? And usually people are very gracious about it. But if i can't get that, maybe the participant still doesn't want to be recorded, i say, ok, no problem. My colleague here is going to help me take notes. That's kind of my back up option. In the worst case scenarea where you can't take notes, or you can't have someone there to take notes for you, and you can't get a transcription, try to take some notes. I highly recommend it. It helps with building report because it's those first moments when somebody's not sure where
