The Future of Election Procedures

I'm really super pessimistic on the possibility to actually change the way elections are held today. We have clearly better systems like majority judgment or randomized converse voting, which are available and could be tested but none of them are tested. I think there is serious discussion about using a more innovative election procedures in New York. The American political system is a very complicated beast with many pros and cons. And so we might well find out, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but maybe even in the next 10 or 20 years, we might see a shift in what people think is acceptable and a good idea.
