The Importance of Slowing Down

I think it's so important, right, that we don't go into the space of throwing people under the bus. Like you had this really great example in your book of just your past. And I also say that context is not an excuse. Our parents, the adults in our lives, our caretakers, they were tiny humans once too. And they were part of a system that was imperfect and flawed. And we know that there's a story there. Right? It can feel like a lie and overwhelming sometimes to turn back towards it. But that intentional step is actually what then allows us to turn back around and move forward.
