Russia's War on Opposition Figures

There is not a single high-profile political opposition figure who is still free today in Russia. They're handing out 25-year prison sentences for grave crimes like expecting a speaking invitation from Rusty Bowers at the Arizona State Legislature. Another way they're waging their war is by locking up all the press. It is no longer legal to operate effectively a non-state-controlled news organization in Russia. And one American journalist, Evan Gerskovich from the Wall Street Journal, has been charged with espionage and was only let have his first visit from the US embassy today.
