The Culture of the Cheyans

Fighting between Cheyans was forbidden by the tribal laws. No policeman warrior nor anyone else could lawfully kill a Cheyenne. Not often did any two women fight, they merely scratched and pulled hair. Some of the people that were great fighters weren't necessarily going to be good leaders.
