Gradwell's Nia Salan

It's that line where it says, you know, when Mrs. Morgan tried to talk to him about Nia Salan, she was always a little embarrassed to discover that he knew absolutely nothing of the interesting political developments among the Africans there. Interestingly, that line is cut from the story when it was published in book form. Do you know anything more about why? I know nothing about why it would have been taken out. Perhaps just seemed to obscure a reference to for contemporary reader. But this is the 1965 volume. So I don't know. Yeah.
