Cabaret: A Musical at Victor Victoria
Cabaret is still my number one favorite musical just because by the way I'm not somebody who seeks out darkness in a musical. There's just something about the juxtaposition of Liza Manelli as desperate young star and grimness of setting with which it's in. Leslie Brickis lyrics have a song called Chicago Illinois about all the thrills of Chicago in the 20s. The legend also underrated Scorsese film New York New York.
