The United States has used more hydrocarbons as a boost to our labor force than any other country on earth. What do you believe is a sustainable human population at a reasonably comfortable lifestyle, eating decently every day? And what is the current broadly accepted scientific range for that answer? My answer would be somewhere around one to one and a half billion people.
