The Constitution Is Not Sanctioned Sanctions
In the early nineties, when i think it was his first year on the bench, he had a ruling that all the sort of liberals on the washin stop ed page went nuts about am. He ruled that some guy who got some inmate in prison, who got beat up a by guards, that it didn't violate some constitutional right. And this infuriated people. It seems to me that's the only argument that you get aout the supreme court and the constitution, is that they don't like the policy outcomes. But that doesn't an argument about what the Supreme Court is supposed to do.
