The Crisis of Trust

Many of the deepest discussions of globalization come back to a very simple idea, the crisis of trust. The deeper I go in this, I'm struck by one very simple thing. There is only one false power greater than globalization. And that's God. Picked up by Jesus, picked up most recently by the last pope, have no fear. But the point is, if you think about it, many people don't even like to think about globalization. It's too big and too challenging. We're in a world of huge forces... Terrorism, bird flu, what's tomorrow?
