There's no doubt that there are issues with bias in medical laion or different types. It all depends on what data we're using and how representative that data is of the population that we're trying to help or serve. N, for example, obermaier actually worked on another study where he was assessing a system that was used to help patients with chronic conditions who were at risk of deteriorating. If you looked at people who had the same algarithm score, the black patients went on to be far less healthy and far more in need of help than the white patients who had the same score. And that was the root of the bias that we found.
