i find in puritan prayers is the anchoring of the soul goes back to a clear understanding that our only source of hope, of wisdom, of anything beneficial is rest self in god. I'd argue that this puritan understands where his citizenship lies and as a result wants to be more reflective of it than anything else. And so i think those kinds of things are important ifind that most people are so bent on saving culture through political means That the transformative power of the gospel and of gospel proclamation and prayer really is neglected.
