I went back and looked at the kind of original pick up artists who were operating before the internet. The original ones were famously documented by Neil Strauss in his book called The Game. But I think since then you've had lots of updates to the techniques. And so men will now talk about hypergamy, the idea that women always marry up or look up. Or let's put it more in terms of the values that we have in a society. A good man is to be loyal, faithful, protective, caring, strong, committed to family and those kinds of things.
