"I really sensed the Lord is saying, I want you to be her mom and dad," she says. "It took three years because of all the three country dynamics" The process involved American, Japanese, anti-social workers and lawyers,. And so we would go back and forth and be before various judges or social workers. She was 12 when we brought her home and our other girls were two, four and six at the time.
