Teaching Music in Spanish as a Second Language
I teach music in Spanish actually and I'm in the reverse situation where I'm teaching Spanish as a second language. Most of my students speak English and I obviously speak English. But I will use English with them when I'm building relationships because I don't want to come across as like this hard line teacher who is always learning Spanish. It's important to be able to give students the chance to feel good about themselves, she says.
