Is IV Access a Good Option for Sickle Cells?

Risk of preeclampsia and eclampsia is generously elevated to community patients with a sickle cell. There's no evidence or really good trials of support, prophylactic PRBC, transfusions, pachrom blood cells. If badger delivery is an option, that should be pursued as we can probably surmise. And what we do here is sometimes especially if they're a chronic opioid patient or very opioid-tolerant, we may elect to leave a lumbropodural in post-op to manage the pain in one or two days.
