Shapeshift is a social network that allows users to buy and sell each other's assets. The company says it has removed many of the mechanisms by which governments try to impede its growth. There are no rules or coercion, just contracts between people based on their own code. Shapeshift was founded in 2009 but only recently began making money from selling tokens for $1 per token.
