The Unpredictable Rhyming Scheme of Hope
Rhyming schemes are based on the ending words of each line. But Dickinson adds an unpredictable rhyming scheme which changes from stanza to stanza. The risk of using a predictable meter is that it can become boring or monotonous. She really loves using those slant rhymes in her poetry.
