Canoes, Is That Really Going to Disturb the Breeding Birds?

We want to give our birds the best chance t they have to go through their quite elaborate courtship rituals as well. We were finding last year, when we initially asked for people to think about going elsewhere and taking whater excess if they found three or more craft on the water, was not working. A single canoe?
