The Role of Co-Oximetry in Oxygen Delivery

Portable blood gas machines are not measuring SAO2. They are just calculating it based on the other parameters they actually do measure. Co-oximetry is by far the more accurate. The SAO2 that you can probably trust if you're feeling like your point of care devices that are portable and not giving you the right answers.
