I think part of the weird wave of support that you see for Adams and some of the people who are waving the flag here, they're coming into this not recognizing the fact that it's okay to be white is a white supremacist mean in the first place. Jonah Goldberg has written about this, that there's this phenomenon that's evident that when you call people racist, they tend to act more racist. And so that that seems to be in the water in the conversation around this in ways that I think you end up exacerbating the problem. Clearly, what you said about Adams, I think, is exactly right.
