The Stranger and the Stranger
The stranger was very influenced by James M. McCain, the postman, always, twice that idea of somebody narrating after their death. He loved Faulkner too, so it wasn't just the hard boiled, but he was close to American literature. You know, he was very ambivalent about cinema because he wrote with a lot of irony about the way the people in Ohong would flock to the cinema to forget their worries.
