Transhumanism: A Version of Eugenics

The original version of transhumanism was basically the old first wave methods of eugenics. And then really, you get this second, so-called second wave of e Eugenics. That emerged in the 1970s and 1980s with the development of new technologies like genetic engineering. Huxley thought that we could use these technologies to radically enhance the human species. This combined the eugenics on steroids aim of transHumanism with a supposedly liberal rather than authoritarian methodology.
