Life Difficult by Design

i'm an evolutionary biologist. I don't want a hundred worlds that are all doing the same thing. That resinates with me. Atey, a third reason for my my love of evolution is a that it is congruent with what what my my son uses his expression his blogs, he calls life difficult by design. And darwin was the first who taught us that opposition, in the sense of violent contestation, and agon and struggle, were pre condition for any meaningful development.
