What's the Point of Executive Privilege?
Donal trump and his acolytes have blown the doors off of executive privilege, says Robert ray. The purpose of a privilege is to encourage free and open communications without risk that those conversations would later be discoverable by congress or anybody else. It's important when we'retalking about mark meadows, the chief of staff is is the closest adviser to the president. But that's not the end of the question. We have ask, what were they talking about? And if they were talking about covering up for january sixth, or the president's pleasure at January 6th, that's not covered by executive privilege.
