Childhood Anxiety Disorders
There is a very strong link between parental anxiety and over control. The parents are communicating this risk, which is certainly impacting how how the child internalizes their world. And then through the over control strategies, which is control and avoidance, they are not learning how to respond when they experience that intense emotion. So it certainly is increasing a rise in anxiety. I think that's without a doubt, clear in american society.
