Do Local Anesthetics Really Work?

Jaina: I've had this asked lots of times, if I'm straying local anesthetic on my penis, then when I go inside my partner, are they going to have a number? Jaina: A lot of our research was focusing on this space. So that concept is all about transference. The active part of the medication penetrates through the skin. And so you get very little residue left on the penis, but still there is the potential that you could have some transference. We still encourage people to wipe it off afterwards.
