The Taliban's Capability to Retake Afghanistan

I don't think this is a sort of hidden hand of Pakistan behind any of this. I think it's what the Taliban always wanted. They were waiting simply for the moment when the Americans decided to drop their gaze and to announce that they were going. That was the key moment. The Taliban are an immensely brutal organization. If they set their minds to it, friends of mine have been sending in details. Of ways in which people who had been resisting them have been executed and injured.
