The Origins of Paul's Conversion
Paul would have had the same sources of information that almost everybody in his day would have had. After he converted, there were no gospels available for probably another 15 years or so. Paul did know a couple of people who knew Jesus during his lifetime. We don't know what they talked about. They talked some things about the historical Jesus, but they certainly had other things to talk about.
