If I was a rat, I'd probably be a rat to cussassan. Like the Sassanate people and shit. Back then there was no sewage. So when people did their business, they didn't have bucket and they just threw it out the window. You would have been maybe kind of like a janitorial type guy too. And you know, rat to the cobbler. Rat tick was probably born with some sort of disability that got corrected through modern science. But back then it wouldn't be corrected. "I can see your rat tick in the 1500s having one leg that was way shorter than the other"
