Robotics Are Not Pattern Matching Machines
Elon Musk tried to build an automated car manufacturing facility, but his was very highly structured and very permanent. He wanted everything to happen in there with minimal intervention by people. But the problem is that human beings are pattern matching machines; repuzzle solvers were not wrath or computers a calculator. So I'm not asking my robots to pick up a little sewing kit at a five gallon jug of conditioner or an avocado. The better analogy to what we do is to look back at the greatest improvements of supply chain efficiency.
