The Commandment Forbids the Use of God's Name in False Worship

This is a commandment that I often hear offering opinions, differing opinions about and would love a better understanding about what it is. We're going to cheat by referencing the Reformation Study Bible because I have it in front of me because we had a question about it. Karen: Why does the Bible tell us our behavior pleases or displeases God? Is this anthropopathism? Wow, that's a mouthful. Well, think about speaking in human terms, right, anthropology. So is it using anthropopathic language in reference to God? Because God is not a human being. He is the infinite eternal one different from us.
