What Australia Fears That China Might Do Militially?

The existential fear, i think, is the fear of abandonment. And frankly, they are prompted by china becoming more assertive. So because of that, australia needs to react in a way that's going to kind of better secure their own future and help stabilize the region. How has Australia perceived china's reaction to its new policy? They reacted angrily, but they don't care I think the perception is we're going to make our own sovereign decisions. We still want to work with china where we can, but these are our decisions made.
